Por que as funcionalidades do software de gerenciamento centralizado WiseFi podem ser a solução para problemas comuns de redes empresariais? Com a popularização do uso do Wi-Fi em empresas, tornou-se essencial ter conexão eficiente e segura, políticas de acessos diferenciados e gerenciamento centralizado. No entanto, organizações de diferentes portes e segmentos ainda enfrentam dificuldades na hora de planejar redes de internet sem fio. Falta de cobertura e de segurança, ineficiência na gestão de rede são alguns pontos a serem driblados. Para pequenas e médias empresas ainda existe a limitação de verba e, consequentemente, de profissionais de TI para lidar com sistemas WLAN complexos.
Aí está uma das grandes vantagens do sistema WiseFi: é acessível para pessoas com pouca experiência em redes, ou seja, não há necessidade de treinamento especial como outras soluções do mercado. Isso porque em vez de uma controladora física – que chega a custar cem vezes mais do que um roteador comum –, o gerenciamento centralizado de todos os APs é via software, sem configurações individuais. Ou seja, no caso de uma empresa que precisa instalar 15 Access Points para oferecer Wi-Fi aos seus funcionários, é feito a configuração apenas 1(uma) vez e aplicado em massa para todos, agilizando o processo de instalação e manutenção desses equipamentos. Além disso, pode ser instalado em qualquer máquina da rede local e é acessado através do navegador web.
A gestão centralizada também contribui para a criação de grupos WLAN sob os mesmos parâmetros. Por meio do WiseFi, a empresa cria grupos WLAN e depois pode incluir quantos APs deseja, aplicando-os de uma só vez. Confira outras opções de configurações nos grupos WLAN:
Até 4 SSIDs com VLAN em cada grupo;
Segurança avançada da rede;
Perfil de banda para cada SSID;
Função de Captive portal, que pode ser com senhas simples, vouchers ou CPF, além da opção de Radius.
Imagine um ambiente como um hotel, onde há diversos quartos com acesso à internet, além do escritório no qual a equipe interna trabalha. Ou um shopping com grande circulação de pessoas e com seus setores administrativos também navegando na rede. Nesse tipo de situação, duas coisas são importantes: acesso diferenciado a visitantes e controle de todos os dispositivos conectados.
O WiseFi permite a visualização dos dispositivos e fornece informações como:, a taxa de download que está consumindo, qualidade do sinal dos clientes, quantidade de clientes conectados, etc. Com status em tempo real é possível bloquear usuários indevidos ou que estejam consumindo mais do que a empresa deseja. As estatísticas também auxiliam na gestão dos APs, pois indicam, entre outros itens de funcionamento, os pontos acessados e a necessidade de retirar ou adicionar mais APs.
Ao configurar os APs com o mesmo SSID em uma distância que não tenha interrupção de cobertura, o sistema sempre disponibilizará ao cliente o AP com melhor sinal. Através da interface do WiseFi pode-se configurar o limite de sensibilidade do sinal. Assim, dispositivos com sinal ruim que teoricamente prejudicam os demais da rede serão desconectados e se conectarão em um AP mais próximo. Isso ajuda a manter a rede saudável e não compromete a navegação para os colaboradores e visitantes da empresa.
